HiSkin — Cosmetics brand elevation through achromatic design
HiSkin is a cosmetics company specializing in care products based on natural ingredients. The guiding idea is combining cosmetics with nature, based on innovative solutions. The brand has a wide range of packaging and established market communication.
The primary task was to increase the effectiveness of the brand’s impact. While analysis confirmed the brand’s market value, the mark built entirely from lettering needed correction. A particular challenge was graphically solving the name problem — it needed to function as a single-word name while simultaneously separating the two component parts: HI and SKIN.
We developed a refined rebranding solution using an achromatic, black-gray-white color scheme and a refined typeface to emphasize the brand’s prestige. Since the main brand carriers are the packaging, we developed the brand mark in a way that facilitates application across the diverse product assortment. The mark correction resolved the HI/SKIN separation challenge while maintaining a unified, single-word brand name appearance.
